Name: Dragon Rites
Nicknames: Rites, dragon people
Appearance: Seven to eight and a half feet tall, buff looking compared to humans(wide shoulders, thick bones and the like). Very tough, rough skin ranging in all shades of colors of black and green. Red, black, and gold eyes. Usually hairless, and instead, a line of spikes going from thier head down their back and tail. Their facial features are very sharp, making their eyes seem a bit hollow, thier nose and mouth a bit beack like, and their ears are almost on the top of their heads, small and in the pointed shape that a dog's ears would be. They have large hands and feet, more like talons with long claws, though perfectly capable of picking up things and using them like a human. Rites either run on four legs with their tail streaming behind, or tower on two. They have large, bat-like wings the same color as their skin that fold up very well(small), but due to their weight, the wings only let them glide by either dropping from a high place or giving full power on four legs. They usually wear leather, tight clothing held on by string wrapped tightly over it and tied. Their clothing color is usually green if their skin is black and vise versa.
Skills: Running long distances on four legs, or gliding short ones. Intimidating prey by towering over it. Excellent instincts.
Way of living: Rites usually live alone, in groups of two, and hardly three.(Half of the species love having a (love)companion, but not any other companions, groups of three are highly unusually, and never groups of anymore. They live in a large area and move on every year or so, and have territory a bit like wolves. They do not make houses, and do not even dig a hole because they can take heat and cold with their tough skin.
Weapons: Rites will hardly use a crafted weapon; only their claws, teeth, and strength
Trade: Rites trade valuable stones called iuns. For some reason, their eyes can find the bright stones easier than others, for iuns are much easier seen when pointed out, even if they are sitting right in front of the eye.
Other impotant facts: For all of this shown power and strength, they do not have much smarts to match it. They are on the border line of intellegent species to beastie, but have excellent intstincts, and more forest/plain knowledge then anything else.
